00 Gauge English Scrapyard – Made by Laurie Calvert 2014-25
Premise/Description – This scrapyard does not really exist. I imagine it is a modern-day preservation line owned by a scrap merchant, Mr Smith. He restores old vehicles, as well as old locomotives.
Can you see his old Ford Capri advert?
Can you see the old small row boat by the stagnant pond?
Can you see the military cannon in the rickety shack?
Details: ‘Piddlewick Yard’ is fully automatic, using a DC Block Signalling SS2A shuttle controller from Layouts4U but a regular manual controller can easily be connected up. It has three audience operated buttons on the front that move a tank turret, bounce a van, and operate lights.
